As part of Global Citizenship month in September, P6/7 learned about the UN’s Global Goals (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs) and committed to one positive action for each of our citizenship groups to take.
Our JRSOs pledged to campaign for a zebra crossing at the Scotmid as soon as possible.

Our Fairtrade group have sought a commitment from Mrs Laird to gradually replace our footballs and rugby balls with Fairtrade certified ones from Bala. https://www.balasport.co.uk/

Our Rights Respecting Pupils Group are going to take action against litter on the way from the local park (designated drop off point) to our school gates. They are really concerned about the safety of young children, pets and wildlife.

Some pupils also chose to make individual commitments to the goals.
