P6/7 will be litter picking and doing a muddy art activity in Craigmonie & Balmacaan Woodland tomorrow morning.
Given the cold and wet forecast, waterproofs, warm cosy layers and wellies/boots/old trainers will be essential!
Last week we discussed in class how to keep our litter picking as safe as possible, and P6/7 pupils agreed that wearing gloves and face coverings would be a good idea, as well as using the school litter pickers.
I have lots of pairs of children’s gardening gloves and disposable masks for our messy activities, but as we discussed in class last week, children may feel more comfortable wearing their own washable face covering/scarf/buff and wearing their own gloves for most of the morning.
We will leave the grounds at 11.15am and will return by 12.15pm.
Parent volunteers (sorry no grandparents, younger siblings or dogs!) are welcome to join us if any of you would like to help with the litter pick or enjoy muddy activities! Please give the school a call to let us know you will be joining us. 01456 450 458
