Yesterday the P7s enjoyed an Outward Bound session led by Nathan March from the Outward Bound Trust https://www.outwardbound.org.uk/ (based at the Loch Eil centre.)
Together with Mrs Woodhouse and Miss Mullin, Nathan facilitated discussions about the values at Glen Urquhart High School, and how these might reassure the children about any transition concerns. Nathan then led a number of teambuilding activities and helped the P7s to reflect on the skills needed to succeed at each challenge. The children were then able to reflect on which GUHS values they had embodied during each activity.
Here are just a few photos of the P7s in action!

The P7 Transition Google Meets have also been very successful. Over previous Transition Google Meets, the P7s from Glenurquhart, Balnain and Cannich Bridge Primaries have had the opportunity to speak with the Management, Guidance and Pupil Support staff from GUHS, as well as working their way through the P7 Transition booklet. They have a P7 Transition Google Classroom where they can access videos about each other’s schools as well as the booklet.
