P6/7 have decorated small cardboard gift boxes as their Christmas enterprise. We worked together as a class to work out the approximate cost of each decorated box. This involved very long decimal numbers that we had to round to the nearest hundredth of a pound. We then had to decide on a fair price to cover our costs. The pupils decided to charge £1 per gift box.
All the pupils have made a beautiful job of their boxes, putting a range of paints and materials to creative use.
This afternoon the pupils had fun creating Christmas Pudding and Robin pom pom decorations with Mrs McLean.
All in all, a very creative, crafty, Christmassy kind of day!
